KEYS TO PRESENTATION and its design aspects
60% content, 40% delivery
People often think content is everything. It's not! While the audience looks at the content, each person's brain is paying attention to the presentation style at the subconscious level. A little voice in the head says "oh, it's very slick!" or "I love the colors and transitions" or, on the other hand, "I wish it didn't look so plain". The subconscious mind is looking to validate what is being presented all the time! This brings us to the second point...
Don't just SAY "quality" and "professional", DO it!
People typically have reservations about new concepts, products and services offered by a company they are unfamiliar with. Naturally, they pay attention to more than just the content of the presentation itself. Look at your presentation project objectively and see if the system you choose to deliver the presentation evinces the professionalism and quality you want the audience to perceive. When you succeed in doing that, you know your presentation will have a high level of believability. This brings us to the third point...
Be mindful about the quality of images used
It is paramount to use only the highest-quality photos / images in your presentation. Photos of inferior quality can only raise viewer suspicion about the quality of work done by the company. Sharp, vibrant and well-composed photos, on the other hand, will boost the audience's confidence in choosing the company's products and services. In addition, always minimize the use of stock photos as most of them lack substance and do not instill credibility and trust in the company.
Sensible use of animation
In general, audiences love effective use of animation because it adds a level of excitement to the viewing experience. Yet, in other (but rare) cases, flashy animation may be negatively perceived due to cultural and religious reasons. Therefore, it is crucial to know your audience when designing a presentation.
PRESENTATION DESIGN
In a typical marketplace, competition is always tough when you want to secure a major project worth millions of dollars. Our clients have relied on GAD to produce digital presentations for their intended (and sometimes fairly large) audiences. And we are very good at doing just that.We understand the psyche of the audience, the fear of the unknown and the desire to be recognized and understood. We are also very good at using specific design principles and professional animation to instill trust and credibility throughout the audience. Having had initial success, our clients grow their businesses by continuing to use the presentations we helped to produce.
